Solar PV module lifting bag (Solar Sergeant™)

The design of the Solar PV module lifting bag (Solar Sergeant™) was developed in response to personal concerns about the vulnerability of the solar panel during transport up scaffolding and onto the roof. As each panels costs a lot of money, carrying it up the scaffolding was a very nervous affair - simply bumping it against a scaffold part could ruin the panel, costing more money to replace. So came about the development of the carrying bag. The Solar PV module lifting bag (Solar Sergeant™) is made to the highest standards and has the features outlined below.

Features

  • The standard size module (Solar PV panel) simply fits snug inside the padded carrying bag, which protects the panel from bumps against the scaffold.

  • The robust zip then keeps the panel safe inside during transport.

  • The hoisting bag can then be either carried by hand via the use of the two handles, one at each end of the hoisting bag.

  • Alternatively a rope can be attached to the third handle to simply pull the bag up to the required position.

  • The lifting bag is padded to protect the panel from bumps against scaffolding etc.

  • The carrying bag is 1800mm long and 1000mm wide, British testing to carry 30kg.
